Norwich Airport’s Coronavirus Recovery – BBC Radio Norfolk Voice Piece

First broadcast on BBC Radio Norfolk on 3rd October 2021.

Norwich Airport is once again offering flights to Tenerife after Covid saw them cancelled last year.

The airport has teamed up with TUI to offer up to two direct flights a week from Norwich.

Richard Pace, Managing Director of Norwich Airport, said:

“We’re delighted to be relaunching year-round holidays to Tenerife with TUI, giving local holidaymakers the opportunity to escape to the sun with the ease and convenience of flying from their local airport.

Norfolk’s holidaymakers will soon have even more holiday destinations to choose from, as TUI launches flights to Spain (Ibiza, Menorca, Majorca, Tenerife), Greece (Corfu, Crete, Rhodes), Cyprus (Paphos), and Turkey (Dalaman) beginning in May 2022.

When travelling, you should continue to follow the latest Covid guidelines, available from your airline and the government website.
